Story
Hi Guys!
Thanks for taking the time to read our page! As some of you may know, we do enjoy a bit of a challenge and seeing what we can do next to test ourselves! Well, this next challenge we have planned is no different... We are planning to ride from our home in Derby to Co. Cork in Ireland which is around 400 miles..
This ride should take us around 3/4 days with everything going well and no major issues happening.. We will be riding to Wales, staying with a friend on the first night and then catching the ferry from Holyhead to Dublin. Once we're in Dublin, we will be riding for a little bit and staying overnight in Kildare. If everything goes well, we should be heading into Cork to our families house in Carraig Na Bhfear.
The reason we are doing this for The Gingerbread charity is because we sadly lost our mum 6 years ago on the 29th April which left our dad as a single parent. This charity does amazing work with single parent families to support them, provide guidance and help them through what we know is a very difficult time! In the UK 1, in 4 families have single parents for whatever reason so the work they do with each one of these is vital.
We will be documenting this on our Instagram page for our training and the actual ride itself so if you do want to keep track, then just follow our account @ The_Foley_Brothers!
Thanks again for taking the time to read this and donating to this amazing charity!
