Over the last 27 years, Follow the Stars – Macmillan Carols has raised £840,526 for Macmillan Cancer Support, helping to provide the vital support those affected by cancer need. None of this would be possible without the support of people buying tickets, sponsorship, or donating in advance.
This year we aim to raise £80,000 for people living with cancer and we hope you will support our ambition. 1 in 2 people in the UK will hear the words ‘you have cancer’ in their lifetime. In Oxfordshire there are on average 3,790 people diagnosed with cancer each year. Today over 30,600 people are living with cancer in Oxfordshire; by 2030 we expect that figure to rise to 42,300.
By donating you are directly supporting people living with cancer. £30 could help pay for a Macmillan Nurse for 1 hour, supporting people living with cancer and their families receive essential medical, practical, and emotional support.
