Story
Thank you so much for visiting my JustGiving page!
Zoe’s beautiful Mum sadly passed away from Cancer in August 2019, so we are all running the Reading Half Marathon on Sunday 5th April in her memory.
We will be raising money for the Duchess of Kent Hospice in Reading, as this was where Nina spent the last of her time receiving amazing end of life care.
Nina described the nurses at the Hospice as Angels for all their help and support. Despite coming to the end of her life; Nina was happy and content to be in such a lovely facility, spending most of her days in the garden that was well kept by volunteers.
Many of you will know, Nina loved to party and her lovely colleagues and staff at the Hospice organised a party in the family room for her, one last time!
The staff didn’t only support Nina but her whole family too. Nothing was ever too much trouble and they will be forever grateful for their kindness.
The Duchess of Kent Hospice costs roughly £15,000 a day to run and relies on donations to make this happen. Please donate what you can to this incredible charity.
