Story
NHS staff and volunteers are doing amazing work right now in caring for COVID-19 patients.Together, let's show our respect and gratitude as they work tirelessly in the face of the virus. It's our turn to make sure we look after them, to ensure they can keep doing their vital work.
Our Footlights dance teacher and dance mum Kerry is a Physiotherapist but has been deployed to work on the wards at Princess Royal Hospital. She is currently helping to rehabilitate both Covid and Non-Covid patients.
"Working in this environment means I see individual patients rather than just statistics and gives me the opportunity to see first hand, the sterling work of all of the staff who are working tirelessly at the trust."
Kerry's daughters are students at Footlights Dance School and have been sewing laundry bags and headbands for Kerry's colleagues but they wanted to do more and came up with the idea of the Danceathon.
Ciara and Izzy are hoping their Footlights Family can help to raise as much money as possible for all the NHS Superheroes like their mum and all the other Footlights mums and dads that are working hard as key workers at the moment.
We hope to have lots of dancing fun while raising money for this fabulous charity!
