As many of you know, Jason died while kayaking in the north of Scotland. It was a long and difficult 2 months without any news and in that time we have taken comfort from your thoughts, prayers and messages of kindness from all over the world.

Not long after Jason went missing, we were invited to Arisaig by the Fort William Police, the area where Jason went missing. We were able to observe at first hand, the work of the police and search teams. We saw just how large an area the search involved and were impressed by the thoroughness, professionalism and dedication of the mountain, land, sea and air search teams. Until then, we didn’t really appreciate the scale of the search and the extraordinary efforts made by the search volunteers.

In lieu of floral tributes, we would like to raise funds in appreciation of all the volunteers involved in the search for Jason. He was such a charitable humanitarian it seemed fitting to set this up and as a small token of thanks to all involved. I'm sure Jason would be pleased if you donated to any charity but we chose these charities.
