Story

Ashley King 1990-2007

Ashley was a kind, caring, funny and popular. He was a fitness fanatic and dedicated a lot of time to going to the gym. He was a keen rugby fan and played rugby for Atherstone Rugby Club. Ashley had just started college and was studying a Btech in Fitness after gaining his GCSEs at school. He had time for anyone and was a friend to all at school.
Ashley passed away unexpectedly on 19th September 2007. He is greatly missed by all his family and friends.

This year will mark the 10th year anniversary of Ashley’s passing and we have decided to run the Great North Run to mark this.

We have decided to raise funds for the Samaritans who are a charity who are there for people who need someone to listen in confidence any time of the day or night and for as long as they like. They are there for people in their darkest hour and offer vital support to anyone who needs them.

We would gratefully appreciate donations on our Just Giving page in memory of Ashley which will go directly to the Samaritans to give them the funds that they require to keep supporting people in need.
