I'm an animal lover, and like many of us, I'm feeling pretty useless about what I can do to help the situation in Australia in any small way. So far it's estimated that 800 million wild animals have died in the New South Wales fires, and I'd like to do something to support the amazing charity WIRES who are currently rescuing as many animals as they can.

What I'm proposing is silly and fun and hopefully you'll all be happy to join in. I work in retail and it's our belated Christmas party on Monday 13th. Here's my suggestion: Please donate $5.50 which is roughly £3 (or whatever you can) and write a message telling me what costume you'd like to see me in at the Christmas party. On Friday I'll randomly (& fairly) pick a suggestion from the hat and I'll turn up at the party on Monday dressed up and we can all have a laugh. Photos will be shared on social media.

An evening of fun at my expense and some help for a lot of animals in need. Please share and give what you can. Many many thanks for supporting this, it's definitely one of my sillier ideas but I couldn't think of anything else. We have until Friday to raise some money for this!
