We are a local registered not for profit charity providing a range of community support services to unpaid carers & older people with respite breaks and companionship. These are delivered through our community care staff and volunteers.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our Just Giving page.

Covid19 put paid to our London> Brighton challenge in May and our Thames Walk challenge in Sept 2020; however we are finally able to participate  at the LONDON SUMMER WALK  ULTRA CHALLENGE on Saturday 5th June.

We will be walking the distance of the London Marathon(26.2 miles) to raise much needed funds for Crossroads Care SEL.

We are passionate about our work & are raising funds for the charity to support unpaid carers & older people in our communities with  a  range of respite and befriending services.

Unpaid carers make an invaluable contribution to our society which often impacts on their own health and well being. It is important  that they  are better recognised for their tireless work in caring for a loved one, relative or friend 24/7. Older  people may experience isolation/loneliness that has a significant affect on their mental health.

Please help us reach our goal so that unpaid carers & older people can access respite breaks/befriending services to support them to do things that we may take for granted.

Thank you Tracey & Brittany ❤️
