For Evan

Laura Hall is raising money for The Lullaby Trust

Team: Uniting for Evan

In memory of Evan Anderson
The Lullaby Trust exists to keep babies safe and to keep grieving families supported. We fund life-saving research, empower families with expert baby safety advice and support grieving families through their darkest days. We won’t give up until no baby dies suddenly or unexpectedly.

Story

On the 10th of October I am running in the Royal Parks Half Marathon in memory of my son Evan. Evan tragically passed away suddenly and unexpectedly in 2019 from SIDS at only 6 weeks old.

I am so incredibly proud to be Evan's mother and I miss him with all of my heart. I hope that I can honor his memory and make him proud by raising money for the Lullaby Trust. To help spread awareness and to help fund research into the causes and prevention of SIDS.

This is only my second time running this event. I am definitely not what I consider a "half marathon runner" but in 2019 Evan's aunty and I managed to raise almost £4000 towards this cause. This year we will be a team of three with Evan's dad also running to try and raise even more money.

Evan was such a big, beautiful baby with a big smile and who is so incredibly loved. He will always be such an important and special part of our lives and I hope that through fundraising I can help others and share his story.

Thank you for any support you can give.
