Story

The Forever Strong Heroes have been brought together by one thing:  the desire to become better people.   Forever Strong has taken people of all ages, from all walks of life and turned them into more confident versions of themselves.

After joining the Forever Strong Community, they are fitter, stronger, healthier and happier.

And to demonstrate this, we are joining forces to overcome challenges throughout the summer.

Some amazing friendships have been formed over the last few years since Forever Strong opened its doors and this summer will see a large group of us undertake several activities in an attempt to raise money for two wonderful charities:  Springhill Hospice and Melanoma UK.

Many of us are familiar with the work that goes on in Springhill and have experienced their kindness first hand.  Melanoma UK is the brainchild of one of our Forever Strong members (Gillian Nuttall) – the organisation helps families and patients who are unfortunate enough to have been diagnosed with melanoma, the UK’s fifth most common cancer.

Training is now underway.  Keep a lookout in the press and on social media as we will be providing regular updates and details of all the competitors and their challenges.

Please give what you can to these two amazing organisations.

Many thanks

About the charity

Melanoma UK was set up in 2007 in memory of Jon Herron. We support patients and families affected by melanoma (skin cancer) and funds raised help to provide that support. We are funding much needed melanoma nurses along with help in vital research. Melanoma is a cruel disease, still without a cure.
