Forget Me Not Children's Hospice is opening a second premises in North Manchester, simply because children there need them.

To celebrate this, and to help the Kickstarter campaign, myself and a few others from the Forget Me Not team, along with friends and anyone who wishes to join us, will be walking the 26.5 miles from our current premises in Huddersfield (Russell House) all the way to the second premises in Bury (Grace's Place)

Supporting us using this page will help Forget Me Not to hire the first nurses at Grace's Place, so that they can start caring for children in the area as soon as possible. Please help us to get Grace's Place off to a flying start by supporting this slightly ambitious walking plan!

"Forget Me Not Children's Hospice is thrilled to announce we’re opening Grace's Place Children's Hospice to support children across North Manchester who have life-shortening conditions. 

Thanks to the incredible hard work and commitment of local supporters, Grace’s Place has a building. But it can’t open without any clinical staff! So we need to recruit some nurses right away.  

As soon as we have our nurses, we can begin providing our Hospice at Home service – bringing clinical care, counselling, therapies and practical support to children and families in their homes. We’ll continue fundraising, so we’ll be caring for children within the building itself as soon as possible. This phased opening is exactly how we began our children’s hospice in Huddersfield."
