Some of you know about 8years ago my grandad was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease. Earlier this year he was moved into a care home. This disease takes away every aspect of a person's personality and replaces it with someone new. We still get to see glimpses of my grandad how he was but sometimes we meet an angry, fustrated man and sometimes we meet an man who sits crying. I am doing this walk to raise money to help ensure support is there for people with the disease and for their families and friends. Alzheimers is a heart breaking disease and I hope one day there is a cure so no one has go through this and no one has to watch someone they love disappear infront of them.
