We fund research into SMA to help find a cure and treatments

Story

Team Lily Bea are taking on the Thames Path Challenge in September this year, this will be 1 year on from when we sadly lost little Lily Bea to SMA. We are walking 50k in Lily's memory to raise as much money as we can for the SMA Trust so that they can fund research to find a cure for this currently incurable disease.

As many of you are aware, my niece Lily Bea was diagnosed, aged 9 weeks, with Spinal Muscular Atrophy Type 1, and was given just 3-8 weeks to live. With her enormous strength of character, determination, and love of life, she fought on until aged 9 months and 2 days.

Lily has left an amazing legacy already, but please help us to make her legacy even further-reaching.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So Bex, Lee, Neil and myself ask you to please dig deep and donate now.
