In memory of Marc

Marc was diagnosed with a brain tumour, completely out of the blue, in May 2017. He died on 1st August 2018, having spent much of the 15 months defying the odds and getting on with the things he loved to do. His illness brought him into contact with the wonderful people of St Peter’s Hospice, a charity he had raised money for many times before when running his full and half marathons.
St. Peter’s do not just provide end of life, palliative care but support through so much of this difficult journey. They are dedicated and compassionate, professional and warm and we would have struggled without their care and experience. Marc died at home, as he wished, supported by St Peter’s and a merry band of other palliative care angels. Marc would be delighted if others in desperately difficult circumstances can be helped in his memory.
