I'm climbing Kilimanjaro in October 2010 for my mum, Eve, who had lung cancer and who died at 1158 on Monday 12th July 2010 with me at her side.

I love her loads and I will do this if it kills me. Plus, I'm doing it for the best charity in the world, Macmillan Cancer Support. We are trying to reach all of the two million people living with cancer in the UK, and we're not doing badly, but we need more; more time, more energy, more awareness, but mostly more money.  And that's where you come in. 

Can you spare £5, £10; anything really...? I know it's the recession, and for some reason this year I've been asked about a zillion times already to give to someone doing a challenge, so you probably have too.
