Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. This year it will be 20 years since our beautiful Alex died, aged 5, of neuroblastoma. I decided I wanted to do a few challenges in 2017, So far I've done the January Dryathlon and currently I'm doing 10000 steps a day in March. It will also be 10 years since we lost our lovely Griff. A year ago it seemed a really good idea for me and my sister Louise  to come out of running retirement to mark our anniversaries - we decided that we'd do the Yorkshire half marathon with my Mike and James, and Louise's Rachel and Michael. However, life got in the way, so it was only 3 weeks ago that Louise and I decided we would try, with 7 weeks to go. Feeling rather #2old2fat2run but we will give it a go!

I'd like to raise funds for Issabelle's Appeal. Issabelle died in 2012 aged 7, also of neuroblastoma. Set up by Issabelle's mum and dad, the charity grants wishes for seriously ill children, and is close to my heart.
