A wonderful, beautiful and loving husband, father, grandfather and brother. He was seen by so many as being such a prominent, strong-headed and graceful person who helped as many as he could. As a grandfather, he always cared for us, protected us and gave us so much strength, encouragement and support. Every person who knew him holds a memory that is so personal, something my nana did with them. He worked and earned the respect of others through hardwork, dedication and his unconditional love for all. Everything he did, he did with patience, passion and purpose. He is truly someone that was a blessing for us be in the presence of in our lives, it was an honour to know him. One of my greatest qualities, is saying I am his granddaughter, the honour and beauty this holds leaves behind a legacy so powerful and elegant to follow, and I pray we are doing him proud. After his passing we have come to know about so much he has done, he performed the greatest deeds between him and Allah, showing how pure and eloquent his intentions were. At Al-Ayn, we know that the long distances have never stopped you from caring, from loving.This month of Ramadhan, we are coming together, more than ever before, to care for each other, and for those in need, now more than ever before.Our Ramadhan 2020 Appeal will help address the crisis facing families of orphaned children across Iraq due to the ongoing pandemic. It will also help provide orphaned children with urgent financial support to help life them out of poverty and secure them with regular allowances.
