Forte Charity has been raising money through the annual Walk to School for years now, after being inspired by some small children in Northern Nigeria who walk a total of 6 miles to and from school daily, in harsh weather and sometimes dangerous conditions, just to get an education. Forte uses money raised to support schools/students in deprived areas, provide tuition fee grants, free books, inspirational talks and educational materials in Africa. 

The 'walk to school' is taking place again in Coventry from Clifford Bridge Road to Blue Coat School on Terry Road - July 6, 2019. Please email fortecharity@live.co.uk for information if you wish to take part, or donate here to encourage the walkers. All ages welcome and you can walk at any pace that suits you.
