Story
For those who didn’t know Lottie, Lottie was a determined, intelligent, and caring person. She loved musicals and passionately worked at Nationwide where she started on a Graduate Scheme in September 2020. Despite having dyslexia, this didn’t hold her back at school or in working life. Throughout her time at Nationwide Building Society (NBS), she excelled in her placements and her personality shone through the society even in a virtual environment. Lottie was very kind and supported her friends and colleagues, and always put a smile on everyone’s faces.
Jenna and Fraser have decided to come up with the idea of a memory walk to fundraise for two charities close to Lottie’s and her family’s hearts. These being Crohn’s and Colitis UK and Tewkesbury Abbey. We have chosen these charities as Crohn’s disease was something Lottie struggled with in the last few months before she passed away. Tewkesbury Abbey is a cathedral that Lottie and her family are strongly connected to, where Lottie was a server from 2011 and on Christmas Day 2010, Lottie and her brother read a prayer live on BBC 1 at Tewkesbury Abbey to millions of people.
We would like to raise money for these charities and commemorate Lottie’s Life through a hike. The hike will consist of memorable locations that relate to Lottie’s life, e.g., her secondary school and Tewkesbury Abbey.
We will be meeting at 8am on 21st November at Bowbrook House School to start the walk.

Tewkesbury Abbey – Tewkesbury Abbey is a Church of England Parish where the money will go towards the upkeep of the Abbey and to support its community and religious ceremonies. Also, it is known for its TV appearance such as Lottie’s appearance at Christmas 2010 on BBC 1. The Abbey has a strong connection to Lottie and her family as this was one of the main churches that Lottie worshiped at.
