On Saturday 19th of September 2015 a hardy bunch of service users and staff will be completing a 10 mile sponsored walk from Fortune Works to Renfrew and return. The aim of this event is to raise funds so that Fortune Works can purchase a defibrillator. 

Fortune Works is a day service in the Drumchapel area of Glasgow working with adults with a learning disability. We have over 100 service users who attend Fortune Works in some cases for many years. Our staff team recently received training in emergency first aid including the use of a defibrillator. This training made us as a staff team more aware of the potential for this equipment to save lives and therefore it was suggested that this year's fundraising via our sponsored walk should be aimed at purchasing a defibrillator for Fortune Works.
