Not enough attention is given to heart health and more public awareness is needed to help us have healthier hearts for longer.

This year I turn 40 and to celebrate I will be taking part in 40 challenges during my 40th year. Running almost 340 miles and cycling a staggering 640 miles in events all over the country and beyond.

These 40 challenges include, sportives such as London to Paris, half marathons, duathlons, triathlons, fun charity events and a fully-fledged marathon.
