Foundation 4 Peaks Challenge · 16 June 2012

We create Bright Spaces; enriching play environments for children experiencing crisis and disadvantage. Our Bright Spaces are in domestic refuges, homeless shelters, child protection interview suites, hopitals and prisons. They enable children to have fun, learn and heal from trauma through play.

Story

Updated on Jun 24th 2012 at 4:21 PM from the JustGiving API

All 4 Peaks have now been conquered in an eventful and very challenging 2 weekends. In total 129 climbers and 3 dogs made the ascents in a truly magnificent effort! Well done to all involved

In June 2012 a team of Bright Horizons staff, families and friends will be climbing the highest peaks in Ireland, Wales, England and Scotland to raise money for the Bright Horizons Foundation for Children. Any support - moral as well as financial will be greatly appreciated. The first mountain to be conquered is Carrantuohill in Ireland on 16th June followed by Snowdon in Wales on 17th.  The following weekend  Ben Nevis in Scotland will be the climbed on 23rd and last but by no means least Scafell Pike  in England on 24th June.

The Foundation supports families in times of difficulty in a variety of ways, from providing gardens and play spaces in Refuges to collecting toiletries and food to give to families who have nothing
