Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I'm George Wilkinson, and along with John Copeland we are two volunteer organisers (in Renfrewshire) for the Pro UK campaign Scotland in Union (SIU). I am an experienced hill-walker/mountaineer who has climbed every mountain in the British Isles over 3000 ft in height, and also climbed in many regions of the Alps, the Pyrenees, Alaska and Canada - so anyone with us will be in safe hands.

We are hoping to raise £500 for Shelter Scotland whilst we do this Four Peaks Challenge. It is a charity which does a lot of good work and we hope whatever the amount raised, it will go a long to helping people. It's a tragedy that homelessness in rising in 2019.

The first climb will be Tuesday 25th June (Snowdon) North Wales. Then it's on to the Lake District to climb Scafell Pike (England) on Wednesday. Friday it will Slieve Donnard (Northern Ireland), and finally on the Saturday, Ben Nevis (Scotland).
