It costs £300 for Treetops hospice to provide a "Hospice at Home" nurse for 9 hours overnight.

So far, my family and I have had 6 overnight stays from nurses as well as those from Health Care Assistants which has cost the charity over £1800.

This service has been absolutely invaluable during such a difficult time and has enabled us, as carers, to be able to get some sleep during the night.

Not only this, but the nurses have been so kind and have provided unbelievable care for my Mum, ensuring that she is comfortable and at peace.

It is for this reason, that myself (and my AMAZING group of friends) have decided to take part in the Moonlight Walk in Derby on Friday 22nd June, to raise money for this charity.
