My brother was diagnosed with Diabetes at 4yr old, we knew nothing about it as no one from our family has it . My brother is a role model for this medical condition and to our family/friends he  shows that even with having this it does not stop you achieving your goals .   Learning how to manage this complicated condition has been very eye opening and the advances being made with new technology are brilliant, hopefully the money I raise will contribute to making the condition easier to manage in the future.
