Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

As many of you may know, we recently lost our friend, father, brother, and husband to bladder cancer that metastasized across his body. His initial treatment was a success, and we thought we were out the woods, but later scans revealed that this was not true.

During his experiences across the year, we were fortunate enough to have been connected with multiple professionals and health care providers who worked alongside Ian to give him the best chance possible. We are asking for donations, instead of flowers, to honour the work they did for him and the work they continue to do for other people.

Ian wasn't one of the fortunate people who survived Bladder Cancer, but it is our hope that his legacy will lead - in some small way - to increased successes in the fight against the disease. Together, we can all play a part in helping the research team at Action Bladder Cancer to help others in his situation to live.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
