On 26th April I will be taking on the London Marathon! Most of you who know me will know I like to run half marathons but this is a completely new challenge! I'm very nervous but also excited for the challenge and to raise money for 6 great charities through BigHearted Scotland.
One of those charities in particular means a lot to me. Epilepsy Scotland. Epilepsy Scotland works with people living with epilepsy to ensure that their voice is heard. They provide invaluable information and emotional support to anyone affected by epilepsy.
I will be running in memory of my close friend Laurel, who sadly passed away in 2005 from SUDEP (Sudden Unexpected Death in Epilepsy). And I'll be wearing the brightest colours I can find doing it!
