Story
Thanks for clicking to get to this page. As my plans to run the Brighton marathon this year are looking less and less likely I decided to bite the bullet and enter the virtual Mid Sussex Marathon this weekend to at least try and do some fundraising for St Catherine’s Hospice, Crawley as they are desperate for funds at the moment.
The Mid Sussex Marathon is a marathon over the three day Bank Holiday weekend, 10 miles Saturday, 10 miles on Sunday and then a 10km on Bank Holiday Monday adding up to 26.2 miles. Now I realise that you may be thinking that this seems a lot easier than the full 26.2 miles in one day, but I will try my best to run it faster than I would if I was running the whole thing in one go and I can assure you I will have tired legs at the end of it (they are tired already from all the lockdown running!!).
So for this lockdown effort, all I am asking is if you would kindly sponsor me and help St Catherine's Hospice to keep their fundraising efforts as high as possible. Thanks!!!!! :)
