On the 3rd July 1991, we tragically lost my beloved dad John after a short battle with cancer.

Inspired by my mums tales of dad's charity parachute jump, in the year I was born, I completed my own "once in a lifetime" jump in aid of Wakefield Hospice. When I landed Jude who was 4 years old made me promise, that as soon as he was old enough we would let him do one too. Little did I know how quickly those years would pass or that I would be expected to join him for round two!

Dad spent time in the Hospice in it's first year of opening and as a family we've been supporting them ever since. It seemed the timing couldn't be more appropriate, allowing us to celebrate Jude's 16th birthday, my 40th and to commemorate my dad, 30 years after his death all whilst raising money for this incredible and inspiring charity.

Jude and I will be paying for the jump ourselves so all money raised will go directly to Wakefield Hospice.
