Brighton Marathon 2019 for the MS Society

Brighton Marathon 2019 · 14 April 2019 ·
Having always said I would never run a marathon, as it is "way too far" it looks like I am going to have to now eat my words!
Everyone who knows me knows that I am one of those odd people who loves to run! I am very lucky to be healthy enough to head out in to the beautiful peak district every weekend and do 10 miles without a second thought as to whether my body will have any difficulties doing this. Not everyone is as lucky as I am.
Multiple Sclerosis is an unpredictable and incurable condition that affects people's nervous systems. It can attack suddenly or progress steadily, bringing a range of symptoms which can include sight loss, incontinence, fatigue and mobility problems.
Over 100,00 people in the U.K have Multiple Sclerois, including my best friend and two of my cousins.
The MS society are a brilliant charity who work to provide support to people with MS, and fund research in to finding effective treatments and ultimately a cure for the condition.
In less than 3 months time I am running the Brighton Marathon to raise money for the MS society and would be really grateful for any donations, no matter how small. Though I am already "a runner" I am also very much a wimp when it comes to rain/cold/potential beasts from the easts, so long training runs in the dark northern winter are not always that enjoyable!
Thank you :)
