Hi, I am Francesca Munoz, a 19 year old international student at the University of Glasgow. I am an activist with my own youth organization in Panama and with recent participation in COP26 as a speaker for action to climate change. I am true believer in community and individual action, which is why I've decided to set myself an ambitious challenge to do my part. I'll be taking part in the Everest Base Camp Trek in aid of WWF. I'll be undertaking this challenging 11-day trek through the Nepal Himalaya to reach the iconic Everest Base Camp at 5,645m! 

My challenge will support WWF, who are the world's leading independent conservation organization with the mission to create a world where people and wildlife can thrive together. I'm supporting WWF because we are the first generation that knows we are destroying the world and the last that can do anything about it. Our planet is suffering but together we can make a difference and fight for our world.
