On the 8th of March 2021 we lost our beautiful Paola . This is something that none of us would ever think could happen to our family. Paola was the life and soul of our family , she rocked ! When we arrived at Thames Hospice I saw Paola smile knowing she would be looked after and she loved her little chalet ( As she called it) . When you are dealt with such a situation , you are never prepared and you feel helpless . However , every single person in Thames hospice made sure that they were there for Paola , they made her comfortable and most of all they made her smile .
