Hi everyone,

I've signed on the dotted line and am taking part in this year's London Marathon! A marathon has been on my bucket list for a while so, when the opportunity arose to run London AND raise money for the British Hen Welfare Trust at the same time, it seemed like a no brainer.

For those of you don't know, I've been at the BHWT since May 2016 and have most definitely turned into a crazy chicken lady! I've got two little girls of my own in the back garden (pictured) and, having watched them transform from timid little creatures into fully-fledged, sassy chickens, has inspired me to try and help as many of them as I can.

There were probably easier ways of doing this than putting myself through 26.2 miles of blood, sweat and tears but hey, I'm up for a challenge!
