Simon Lough, the indefatigable Chair of Envision is not someone I can say no to ... so I find myself about to embark on another endurance bike challenge for the wonderful and effective charity that is Envision.

From Buxton (Peak District, need I say more) to London in 3 days, 210 miles, against the prevailing wind and with just my ageing legs to propel the bike

The training has been intense but a blessing and a privilege to get out in the English countryside when so many faced much tougher lock-downs.  Its amazing how motivational the thought of an al fresco bacon sandwich can be.
