We are moving further, faster to help everyone affected by a brain tumour

Story

The idea was born over a beer at our work’s local pub, the King William IV, not far from City Road in the Old Street area.  This was before our dear work colleague and friend, Francesco Anstey, sadly passed away earlier last month, on the 12 May, after a courageous and determined fight against all odds.

He was only 23. Francesco was a valued friend, family member and colleague.

Some of Francesco's closest friends, relatives and colleagues will be attempting the "Three Peaks Challenge" on the weekend of 3 September, to raise money for the Samantha Dickson Brain Tumour Trust. Starting at the foot of Scotland's highest mountain, Ben Nevis, we will climb the Ben's 4,409 feet before a gruelling night drive to the Lake District, where we will climb the highest mountain in England - Scafell Pike. Then the race against time concludes by driving to Wales to climb Snowdon.

The target will be to complete the three peaks in an unbroken 24 hours - a test of physical fitness and stamina.  We do this in honour and memory of Francesco.

At the request of Francesco's family, we will be raising money for the Samantha Dickson Brain Tumour Trust. The Trust  is the largest adult and childhood brain tumour charity dedicated to research and support in the UK. The charity is proud to be the largest dedicated funder of brain tumour research in the UK.

We would be grateful if you could please sponsor us here and share with those you know.  Our aim is to raise as much money as possible for the cause.

Thank you for your support!
