Story

Frances Gough sadly passed away at Edinburgh Western General Hospital on the 31st of December following a short illness, at the far too young an age of 48. She will be missed enourmously by the many people whose life she in some way enhanced, as a Mother, wife, friend or colleague.

Throughout her life she was passionate about never giving up on people; even when it seemed everyone else would or had, and it was this quality that made her such a special person. In this vein she had always loved the work of Médecins Sans Frontières, delivering medical aid to people most in need, even when most other charities considered it too difficult or dangerous and would often leave. Considering this, the family believe that in lieu of flowers, continuing to support their work is a fitting tribute to this wonderful person.
