On Tuesday I will be setting off on what will be the longest bike ride of my life (which is really saying something at this point 🤪).

With a team of three others we will start in Cornwall at Land's End and we will make our way up to the northern most point of Scotland which will see us covering more than 100 miles a day on our bikes. 

This was something we had hoped to do in June but lockdown meant that we were forced to postpone until now. We are now more than ever beginning to see the affects that this pandemic has had, but one area that has been hit harder than most has been the charity sector. 

A big part of Help For Heroes' work has been to support our boys and girls as they return from their career in the military and contend with struggles of re-emersing themselves into civilian life, many with life changing physical and mental injuries.

The affect this period of isolation has had and will continue to have on those with mental health problems cannot be underestimated, there will be many people who will desperately need the support of this charity over the next few months and in turn the charity will desperately need the support of us.

So I ask you, once more, if you are in a position to do so, to donate to Help For Heroes. No amount is too small. Thank you, and now let's pray for sunshine and a nice tail wind!
