IRONMAN Hamburg · 4 June 2023

Team Lewis Trust has been set up in memory of Lewis Crossley, who was 7 years old and passed away in November 2017 from T-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia. Team Lewis Trust aims to support research into this disease as there is a need to further develop research and treatment into this sub-type of leukaemia that is currently lagging behind other forms. Team Lewis Trust will undertake fundraising and receive fundraising monies to enable the charity to make grants to further such research and develop new treatments and ultimately a cure for this disease.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On June 4th I will attempt to complete IRONMAN Hamburg to raise money for Team Lewis Trust. This will be my first ever triathlon and I started my training as a very average swimmer and an occasional cyclist. Knowing I am raising money for such a fantastic charity will help keep me motivated through the long training sessions and the race itself (2.4 mile swim, 112 mile bike & 26.2 mile run).
