Toybox – changing the world for street children. Committed to ending the global injustice of children living and working on the streets. Our vision is of a just world in which no child is forced to live or work on the streets. Your support will transform the lives of vulnerable street children.

Story

Over the last 12 weeks, a team of 40+ people have been training on turbo bikes in readiness to climb the equivalent of the height of Everest - 8848 metres over the May bank holiday weekend.

Each team of six cyclists will summit over the bank holiday weekend, raising money for various charities.

I have been privileged to be a Trustee Director of Toybox for a number of years now.  Toybox supports street children in Latin America, India, Nepal and Africa helping children marginalised and abused by those who should be protecting them.

Today 1 in 4 children under 5 do not officially exist because they have not been registered at birth. Being registered at birth is the first step to gaining lifelong protection and a prerequisite to being able to exercise all other rights. Without it, no individual can access national social service systems such as healthcare, education or justice.

I'll be raising money to support the work of Toybox in achieving birth registration for children in Nepal.

PLEASE NOTE - EVERY DONATION MADE WILL BE MATCHED BY MY EMPLOYER, GLOBAL INSURANCE COMPANY,  GALLAGHER !

Thanks for your support!
