Help us in raising funds for children from disadvantaged communities in Zambia with our London schools charity football tournament that will see Head Teachers go head-to-head!

Story

Our Headmistress, Katharine Woodcock, is delighted to be taking part in this year's Strictly Headers School Football Tournament in support of Play it Forward. Hosted by More House School, Strictly Headers sees female Headteachers and senior leaders from 17 schools around London go head-to-head in a celebration of women's football.

The popularity of football has gone from strength to strength at FHS, spurred on by the extraordinary success of the Lionesses in the Women's Euros 2022. In response to increased demand, FHS has appointed a new football coach from Chelsea F.C. and introduced morning U12 and U13 football clubs. The students are always keen to don their boots and embrace competitive fixtures at home and away. We can't wait to see Mrs Woodcock join this growing community of FHS football fans by taking on a new challenge and supporting such a worthy cause.

All funds raised from Strictly Headers will go towards making football safe, fun and accessible for girls in Zambia. By providing opportunities through education and health activities, Play it Forward aim to achieve sustainable social change by supporting young people on and off the pitch. Many thanks in advance for supporting Mrs Woodcock in this soccer challenge! #BringItHome
