We pioneer life-saving cancer research to help us beat cancer

Story

Hello,

On 15th December I will be stepping foot into a boxing ring  in front of 2000+ people, to help raise money for Cancer research. I have never stepped into a boxing ring in my life,  so I will undergo 8 weeks of intense training to transform myself from a white collar professional to a amateur(Professional) boxer. Having to step into a ring to fight somebody may seem like a daunting experience, but this is insignificant in comparison to the millions of people who have to fight cancer.

Cancer research makes a real impact through research into the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of the disease. Their work can only continue if we as the public continue to support them - they are almost entirely funded by the public.

40% of the charity's research expenditure goes on basic laboratory research relevant to all types of cancer. This improves our understanding of how cancer develops and spreads and thus provides a foundation for other research.

Our contributions directly help support the research and ensure that that it keeps going.

You are more than welcome to come and witness me fighting to help put a stop to cancer(I would appreciate the support). See event details for more information.

I hope to see you all there :)

Thanks,

Francis
