My mate sent me a link that Strictly Christmas were looking for the final male contestant and told me to "do it!" so without thinking I applied and... got the spot. From October to December I have to do more than 4 hours of ballroom and latin dance training a week and then take part in a competition (14 & 15 December).  

I also had to pledge that I would raise money for Zoe's Place in Coventry - they're a really great charity that provides care and support to babies and children up to the age of 5 with life-limiting and/or life-threatening conditions.
