The 2.6 Challenge · 26 April 2020 ·
Hi, we're Fran and Emma - we work for the League Against Cruel Sports.
We're doing the 2.6 challenge to raise money for the League, as these uncertain times hit charities across the UK very hard. The 2.6 challenge encourages people to fundraise for UK charities on the 26th April (this Sunday) - which should have been the date for the 2020 London Marathon (twopointsixchallenge.co.uk).
Our personal 2.6 challenge will involve us doing 26 exercises, 26 times (from our own homes - we're not meeting up during lockdown, don't worry!)
Any donation would be greatly appreciated. If you have a spare £26p, £2.60 or £12.60 - any donation is amazing.
The exercises will be (if anyone is interested!):
Note from Fran - please bear in mind that one of us (*ahem* me *ahem*) is significantly less fit than the other. So this should be interesting!
About the League:
The League (www.league.org.uk) is one of the UK's best-loved and most influential animal protection charities. At the League, we're probably best known for helping bring in the Hunting Act which made it illegal to hunt foxes and other wild mammals with dogs.
About the 2.6 challenge:
Help save the UK's Charities! General fundraising has been hit very hard by the COVID-19 pandemic. Thousands of fundraising events have been cancelled and many charities, particularly smaller ones, are struggling to maintain services because of this huge reduction in income.
Charities pay a small fee for our service. Learn more about fees
