Hi friends, 

The news that Mama Di Lusso (Gera) has non-Hodgkins lymphoma has knocked our whole family for six, but we're determined to face it head on - or rather hair off!

There's no f!*&ing way that chemo is getting to touch her trademark Italian locks before I do, so she's having a pre-treatment chop at the shop on Saturday 9th March at 3.30pm. 

After that it's likely she'll need at least three rounds of chemotherapy and some radiotherapy so there's going to be some tough times ahead.  

For now, she's really keen to raise awareness of this b*stard disease and I thought we could pull together and raise some cash for the fantastic work that Macmillan does, while at the same time showing her how much support she has. 

I could never put into words how much she does for me and all of our family, so this is my way of doing something for her.  

All donations are welcome, and we'll film her cut and add it to our social channels so you can see the results for yourselves. We've not decided how short we'll go just yet, but there's going to be a helluva lot coming off!
