We were all excited when we heard that Dora's mother ( our daughter ) had gone into labour...and devestated three hours later when we heard that Dora Rose had died. Her parents have shown immense courage and resilience in the face of this cruel loss.

They have told us how much they value the support they have received from their local SANDS group in Coventry, support which comes from other parents who have endured similar experiences.

Their experiences and the work of SANDS has inspired me. I enjoy hiking, so I  decided to set myself the challenge of walking the first 82 miles of the Coast- to- Coast walk in July this year, from St Bees to Kirkby Stephen. It's tough but I am determined to complete it in memory of Dora Rose.

You can donate an amount per mile or a total amount. All the money raised will go to SANDS, who rely entirely on donations. The money will help towards the running costs of their local group.
