Brain Tumour Charity (The)

We are moving further, faster to help everyone affected by a brain tumour

Charity Registration No. 1150054

Now then you lovely lot, as some of you know my Dad died in February this year to a form of brain cancer that seemed to have no explanation or reason for developing.

This was the most painful and devastating experience my family and I have ever been through and if I can raise any money to stop other families going through this and fund research into brain tumours to help treat or even prevent them from developing in the future then it would be absolutely amazing.

Over £500 million is spent a year into the research of cancer but only 2% of that goes towards brain tumours which is why I've chosen The Brain Tumour Charity to raise money for. They're the UK's biggest charity deditacted to the research of brain tumours.

I'm not entirely sure what I was thinking when I signed up for this challenge as I'm in no way sporty or athletic but never mind. On the 15th of February 2013 I'll be going to India to cycle 430 Kilometres

The basic outline of the ride should go something like this:

15th - Fly out from London
16th - Arrive in Delhi
17th - Look at Taj Mahal and sort bikes etc ready for the trip
18th - Taj Mahal to Fatephur Sikri
19th - Fatephur Sikri to Keoladeo Ghana National Park
20th - Keoladeo Ghana National Parl to Karauli
21st - Karauli to Ranthambore National Park
22nd - Ranthambore National Park to Bhanderej
23rd - Bhanderej to Jaipur
24th - Fly back to London

Everything raised will go straight to the charity so any donations and well wishing would be massively appreciated :)
