BUPA London 10,000 2011 · 30 May 2011 ·

At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.

Story

I decided to do the Bupa 10,000 run in support of the Alzheimer's Society to help those affected by this terrible disease, one of which being my nan!

We all know someone that has "Senior moments", we've all probably had a chuckle at them too... BUT, this disease can eventually lead to someone needing help and care just doing everyday things and can eventually lead to the sufferer seeming like a shell of the person you love!

Although the minimum target is £200, anything you can give to support this charity is greatly received.
