Edi Charity Haircut

Frankie Howat is raising money for The Ayrshire Hospice

Charity Haircut · 24 April 2021

Our charity cares for adults in Ayrshire and Arran with life-limiting illnesses. We help them live as actively as possible to the end of their lives, however long that may be. Hospice care is open to all. It’s free for patients but it’s not free to provide. So we need to raise over £4M each year.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Our really courageous neighbour Fiona Clarke is battling at the minute with Cancer.

Our 7 year old daughter Edi Howat has been asking how she can help Fiona and so has decided on having her waist length hair cut. She will donate the cut hair to The Little Princess Trust who make wigs from it for children undergoing cancer treatment or treatment for illnesses causing hair loss.

We have asked Fiona Clarke where she would like any money raised by Edi to go and she has decided it should go to The Ayrshire Hospice.......a fantastic charity, who have been hit hard by Covid by not being able to open their shops.

Edi will have between 10 and 12 inches cut off of her hair. This was all Edi’s own idea. We are proud to be parents. Let’s get some money raised for this fabulous charity and our lovely, superbrave neighbour.

Cameron Hair, Main Street, Kilmaurs are doing the ‘deed’ on Saturday 24th April 2021 at

12 o’ clock. A charity close to Lorna Cameron’s heart too.
