Story

Running the London Marathon has been a dream of mine since I watched my Dad do it when I was 14. I started running just after this and apart from a few lazy months during my university years I have always been a keen runner. Not only have I been given the opportunity to take part in this incredible event, I also have the pleasure of raising money for SpecialEffect, a charity that has become very close to my heart.

SpecialEffect put fun and inclusion into the lives of people with physical disabilities through technology.

Everyone, no matter what physical disability they may have should be able to experience the fun, laughter and inclusion that video games can bring. SpecialEffect provides customised gaming setups which are completely unique to the individual to allow them to play whatever game they want to play.

SpecialEffect also work with people who have had a sudden injury or illness which has left them completely paralyzed...except for their eyes. They work with these individuals and help them to access leisure and communication through the use of eye gaze devices.

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
