London Landmarks Half Marathon 2024 · 7 April 2024 ·

At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.

Story

The Forget-me-nots (Frankie, Flynn and friends) will be running the London Landmark's Half Marathon on the 7th of April (our father's birthday) to raise money for the Alzheimer’s Society. With many of the team running a half-marathon for the first time, any support would be greatly appreciated! 🏃‍♀️🏃🏃‍♂️

Earlier this year, our father, much like our great uncle before him, was sadly diagnosed with young-onset dementia, positioning him amongst the 5% of individuals diagnosed with Alzheimer’s before the age of 65. By fundraising for the Alzheimer's Society, our aim is to contribute to both the vital funding necessary for support services and research grants in the hope of making a difference.

Your generosity will go towards providing support and care for those affected by dementia. Donate to our team today and help bring forward the day when all dementia is all, but a memory 💙
